ECU TUNING WARRANTY
We take pride in delivering high-quality ECU tunes for your RX8. This warranty outlines your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the terms and conditions of our service guarantee.
Consumer Guarantees
Our services are provided in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act, which ensures that all services must be:

Carried out with reasonable care and skill

Fit for the particular purpose requested

Completed within a reasonable time (if no time is set)

Provided at a reasonable price (if no price is set beforehand)
Warranty Coverage
We warrant that our ECU tuning services will be free from software-related defects for a period of 6 months from the date of service.
This warranty includes:

Correction of any ECU tuning errors caused by us

Retuning if the tune does not meet the performance or drivability standards promised during the consultation
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:

Mechanical failures unrelated to the ECU tune

Issues arising from:
-
Improper maintenance
-
Installation of incompatible aftermarket parts

Further modifications after tuning
-
Use of contaminated fuel or incorrect fuel type

Abuse, misuse, or racing beyond the scope discussed at tuning

Any claims related to pre-existing mechanical or electrical issues
Customer Responsibilities
To maintain warranty coverage:

Follow all recommendations and maintenance schedules provided at the time of tuning

Inform us immediately of any issues suspected to be tune-related
-
Allow us the opportunity to inspect and, if applicable, rectify the issue before any third-party intervention
Remedy
If a fault with the tune is found to be our responsibility:

We will repair, replace, or re-perform the tuning service at no additional cost

If the issue cannot be remedied within a reasonable time, you may be entitled to a refund or price reduction under the CGA
Limitations
This warranty is limited to the ECU tuning services provided by us. We are not responsible for consequential damages or costs associated with vehicle downtime unless required by the CGA. The warranty only applies to the original customer and is non-transferrable.
