ENGINE REBUILD WARRANTY

This warranty is provided in accordance with your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. It is intended to clarify what we cover and how we support you if something goes wrong. This warranty operates in addition to the guarantees you are entitled to under New Zealand law.

  • Honour this coverage within the stated warranty period

Covered components include:

  • Apex seals

  • Side seals

  • Corner seals

  • Oil control rings and springs

  • External or ancillary components:

    • ECU, sensors, wiring, turbochargers, oil lines, fuel system, etc.

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Use in motorsport, racing, drifting, or competition without prior agreement in writing

Consumer Rights Under the CGA

This warranty does not replace or limit your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, which ensures:

  • Services are performed with reasonable care and skill

  • Goods and services are fit for purpose

  • The work is completed within a reasonable timeframe

If something goes wrong that falls under the CGA (even after the warranty expires), you may still have rights to a remedy.

Customer Responsibilities

To maintain warranty validity, customers must:

  • Follow the engine break-in procedure supplied at delivery

  • Use recommended oil and fuel types (including premix if advised)

  • Maintain regular servicing and oil changes (documented if requested)

  • Notify us of any issues as soon as possible

  • Not disassemble the engine without prior written approval

How to Make a Warranty Claim

To lodge a claim:

  1. Contact us as soon as the issue is noticed

  2. Provide your invoice and any service or tuning documentation if requested

  3. Allow us to inspect or test the engine

If the issue is covered, we will repair or replace the faulty part(s) and cover reasonable labour.
