ENGINE REBUILD WARRANTY
This warranty is provided in accordance with your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. It is intended to clarify what we cover and how we support you if something goes wrong. This warranty operates in addition to the guarantees you are entitled to under New Zealand law.

Warranty Coverage
We provide a 12-month or 10,000 km limited warranty (whichever comes first) on rotary engine rebuilds completed by us.
This warranty applies to the workmanship and parts used during the rebuild process and is valid from the date of delivery or installation.
What Is Covered
If a failure occurs due to faulty workmanship or defective parts supplied by us, we will:

Repair or replace the affected components at no cost to you

Cover reasonable labour to correct the issue

Honour this coverage within the stated warranty period
Covered components include:

Apex seals
-
Side seals
-
Corner seals
-
Oil control rings and springs
-
Rotor bearings
-
Any other internal parts we replaced or serviced during the rebuild

What Is Not Covered
The warranty does not cover:

Engine damage caused by:
-
Overheating
-
Oil starvation
-
Detonation or poor-quality fuel
-
Improper tuning (unless performed by us)

Failure to follow break-in procedures
-

External or ancillary components:
-
ECU, sensors, wiring, turbochargers, oil lines, fuel system, etc.

Normal wear and tear
-
Use in motorsport, racing, drifting, or competition without prior agreement in writing

Consumer Rights Under the CGA
This warranty does not replace or limit your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, which ensures:

Services are performed with reasonable care and skill
-
Goods and services are fit for purpose
-
The work is completed within a reasonable timeframe
If something goes wrong that falls under the CGA (even after the warranty expires), you may still have rights to a remedy.
Customer Responsibilities
To maintain warranty validity, customers must:

Follow the engine break-in procedure supplied at delivery
-
Use recommended oil and fuel types (including premix if advised)

Maintain regular servicing and oil changes (documented if requested)

Notify us of any issues as soon as possible
-
Not disassemble the engine without prior written approval
How to Make a Warranty Claim
To lodge a claim:

Contact us as soon as the issue is noticed

Provide your invoice and any service or tuning documentation if requested

Allow us to inspect or test the engine
If the issue is covered, we will repair or replace the faulty part(s) and cover reasonable labour.

Exclusions and Limits

Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original customer

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g. towing, loss of income), except where required by the CGA
-
Our maximum liability is limited to the original cost of the rebuild
